Privacy policy

Superlane is a customer relationship management (CRM) service operated by Growth Escalators, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect through superlane.io and the Superlane app, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Who this policy covers

It covers visitors to our website, people who sign up for Superlane (our customers and their team members), and the contacts our customers store in Superlane, such as their leads and clients. For contact data, our customer decides what is collected and why; we process it on the customer's behalf and under their instructions.

What we collect

• Details you give us: name, work email, phone or WhatsApp number, company, city and the answers you give in our forms.
• Account data: login details, team members, roles, billing details and GST information.
• Customer content: contacts, companies, deals, notes, tasks, files and messages that customers add to Superlane or connect to it.
• WhatsApp data: when a customer connects a WhatsApp Business number through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, we receive and store the messages, message status and profile name of the people who message that number, so the customer's team can reply from Superlane.
• Google data: when a user connects Google Calendar, we access the calendar events needed to show and book meetings in Superlane.
• Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location from IP address, and how features are used. We use cookies and similar tools, including Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Vercel Analytics, to understand and improve the website.

How we use it

• to provide, secure and support Superlane;
• to contact you about your enquiry, account, billing and service updates;
• to send you product news, which you can opt out of at any time;
• to meet legal, tax and accounting duties, such as issuing GST invoices;
• to improve the website and product using aggregated usage data.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use customer content or WhatsApp messages for advertising.

Google user data

Superlane's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google Calendar data only to provide calendar features that the user can see in Superlane, we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide those features or as required by law, and we do not use it to train general AI models.

AI features

If a customer connects Superlane to an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude, Superlane shares the data that the customer's user asks about with that assistant, under the customer's own account and settings with that provider. Customers can disconnect an assistant at any time.

Who we share data with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run Superlane, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics and Meta (for WhatsApp messaging), under contracts that limit their use of the data, and with authorities where the law requires it.

Where data is stored and how long we keep it

Data is stored with our cloud providers, which may be in India or other countries, with safeguards required by law. We keep customer content for as long as the account is active. After an account is closed or a deletion request is completed, we delete or anonymise the data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as invoices.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other laws that apply to you, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Contacts stored by a Superlane customer should first contact that business. To delete data, see our data deletion instructions.

Children

Superlane is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Important changes will also be emailed to customers.
